Why did you start the business?
I started PMM because I wanted to build something of my own and take pride in the work I deliver. I saw an opportunity to provide reliable, high-quality services while creating a business that reflects my values and work ethic.
Where do you see yourself and your business in 5 years?
In five years, I'd love to have a team of around five employees and possibly a small workshop. Having big goals keeps me motivated and pushes me to work harder every day.
Outside of work, I look forward to growing my family and creating a secure future with my partner.
Favourite machine or thing to work on?
Diggers and HME equipment.
What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?
Camping, taking the ski boat out, enjoying time with my partner and dogs, catching up with mates.
How many sites are you inducted at?
From the top of my head, 21+.
How long have you been a boilermaker?
I started my apprenticeship at 17 and was signed off early before venturing into the workforce. I've now been qualified for three years.
In 2025, I created my boilermaking trailer for hire and now in 2026, I'm officially kicking things off on my own.
Advice for other young people entering the industry?
Learn and experience as much as you can. Take the risk to explore new job opportunities even if you are hesitant — sometimes making difficult decisions can lead to amazing opportunities.
One thing everyone should know about Braith and PMM?
Being young doesn't mean lack of experience. I'm passionate about my trade, always learning, and dedicated to delivering quality results.
